WCG × Blanor Products

PottyCap case study: Independence is a product. Dignity is the story.

PottyCap is the portable urinal giving women freedom when the bathroom is out of reach, invented by a physical therapist who spent decades watching patients need it. WCG built the launch story.

A first-of-its-kind product needs a first impression that works everywhere: the website, the sales meeting, the shelf pitch. WCG wrote it, shot it, and cut it for all three.

Timeline

2024 – Present

The Story

From script to screen in one summer.

The timeline below is recreated from the real production record: every date is the actual date it happened.

01The Inventor

A physical therapist saw the need for decades.

Faye Pryor has practiced physical therapy since 1977. She watched women lose their independence to something as simple as getting to a bathroom, and designed the answer herself. A story that strong deserves more than a product demo.

02The Script

Written together, locked together.

WCG drafted the script, walked the Blanor team through revisions line by line, and ran a full table read before a single light was set. When production day came, everyone already knew the story by heart.

03The Shoot

One production day. Everything captured.

Call sheet, location, staging, and a set dressed for intimacy rather than infomercial. Delivered three weeks later as a full creative asset folder, with alternate takes for the team to choose from.

Beyond Delivery

Cut for the shelf. Taught for the feed.

As Blanor pitched the nation’s biggest retailer, WCG re-cut the reel to carry the Walmart mark into the room. And instead of leaving the team with a folder of files, WCG ran live sessions teaching them to post, schedule, and auto-reply on their own channels. In 2025, the cameras came back: 21 interview segments captured in a single production day, cut for both broadcast and social.

Every invention has an inventor.

PottyCap exists because one physical therapist refused to accept the way things were. WCG’s job was to make sure the world could feel that. If your product has a story like this behind it, don’t let a spec sheet tell it.
