Mavericks on the Mic case study: A worship movement finds its voice.
Maverick City Music changed the sound of modern worship. When TRIBL wanted a podcast worthy of it, WCG built Mavericks on the Mic from a blank page: concept, identity, and every episode since.
A Grammy-winning movement needed a show that could sit beside it. WCG designed the entire look and built the production system, so eleven episodes feel like one body of work.
Mavericks on the Mic · The Show
From a blank page to a platform.
A podcast is not just a mic and a guest. It is an identity, a system, and a standard. Follow Mavericks on the Mic from the first design decision to a published episode reaching TRIBL’s global audience.
The identity, built from nothing.
The show began as a conversation and became a platform. WCG partnered with TRIBL to shape the concept, then designed the complete graphic look: logo, cover art, thumbnail system, social templates, and custom type. Nothing inherited. Everything built.
Full visual identity by WCG
A system that travels.
One design toolkit powers every touchpoint: animated bumpers, lower thirds, segment graphics, and templates for episodes, shorts, and social. Whoever touches the show, the brand holds.
Production worthy of the guest.
The chairs hold the biggest names in gospel and worship: Kirk Franklin, Travis Greene, Naomi Raine, Dante Bowe, Connor Price. WCG produces and edits every episode end to end, from multi-camera capture through audio repair and final delivery.
Distribution through TRIBL.
Every episode publishes to TRIBL’s global YouTube audience alongside shorts and social cuts built from the same system. The show meets the movement’s audience where it already worships, watches, and listens.
Concept to distribution, one partner.
The design system
A complete brand toolkit, built once and applied to everything, so eleven episodes look like one intentional platform.
The guest roster
The most influential voices in modern worship and gospel culture, captured and edited by WCG.
The production pipeline
Multi-camera capture, story cuts, audio repair, and final delivery, plus shorts and social from every session.
The voices behind the movement.
Every thumbnail, every frame, every cut designed and produced by WCG, published through TRIBL.
The movement keeps talking.
Eleven episodes in, Mavericks on the Mic is the place where the voices behind modern worship tell the whole story. WCG keeps the system running: same identity, same standard, new stories every episode.
